Disposable Income

I have almost none of it. Some of what I do have goes towards lottery tickets because at this point in my life I feel that a longshot is my best bet for acquiring the money I want without resorting to illegal activities. Money is the root of all evil. Not true. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. When you will do anything to gain more money, then you are contributing to all evil. If the safety of your employees is secondary to your profits, that's evil. If rent or food comes after lottery tickets, that's...hmmm, well, probably the start of a slide into a situation where evil might come, where it perhaps would not if the bills had been paid first.

Anyway, there's a saying, "hope springs eternal," and I'm hoping that I'll one day win that lottery. I'm reminded of another adage, "if you don't work, you don't eat," well, I'd like to have enough money one day to be like these wealthy individuals who let their money work for them.

I guess it all comes down to the fact that I want to do what I want to do, and what I don't want to do is work.

I want a life of leisure. I want a life of ease. I want to turn my back on the world and do whatever I please. I do not need or want a life of profligacy, enough to indulge most of my whims sounds about right to me.
